Sorry. Should have searched first. Apparently there's a known issue with proxy support.

The problem I discussed here (http://www-10.lotus.com/ldd/nd8forum.nsf/DateAllThreadedWeb/c8a910ab0b685217852572a6006790d4?OpenDocument) seems to have originated with the fact that my attempt to try out the RSS feed reader failed with "Feed not found".

The first thing that comes to mind is a proxy issue. I'm testing from inside a corporate firewall. For both IE and Firefox, I normally enter the URL of an autoconfigure script to set up the appropriate proxy. But using netstat I got the actual address and port of the proxy server, and I've confirmed it by configuring it manually in the browser and it works.

So, I entered the same proxy server address and port in the proxy dialog in my location doc, but still no feeds. I restarted the Notes client just to be sure, and still no joy. "Feed not found." :-(

So, maybe it isn't a proxy issue. Or maybe it is. For the record, where does the feed reader pick up proxy settings? Is it from the location doc?
